Under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Lake County Workforce Development can sponsor a qualified individual for a paid work experience for up to 6 months.
A work experience may be 20 to 40 hours per week.
Locations and type of work experiences vary; some recent work experiences have been in the following fields: IT, healthcare support, project management, office administration.
In order to participate in a work experience, an applicant must:
* live in Lake County or have been laid off from a job in Lake County
* qualify based upon income or layoff status
* be eligible to work in the United States
