  • Available at any early voting site when open Oct. 19 to Nov. 2
  • On Election Day, you can register at your assigned neighborhood voting site serving your address, the Lake County Fairgrounds, or the Lake County Main Courthouse Lobby
  • You must vote at the time of registration

Registration requirements


You must:
  • be a U.S. citizen,
  • be a resident of your precinct for 30 days before Election Day,
  • be 18 years old on or before November 3, 2020,
    AND
  • provide two forms of valid identification. Both pieces of identification must show your current name, and one must show your current Lake County physical street address.

Vote by Mail

     
  • By 7 PM on Election Day, your vote by mail ballot must be:
    • hand-delivered to our office,
    • Placed in a postage-free drop box
      Drop Box Finder,
    • Mailed with a postmark on or before Election Day, or
    • Surrendered to the election judges in a voting site
